It's been a while since I have tasted this 2004, having recently been drinking 2006. It's a good solid grower Champagne but just slightly rough around the edges when compared to their Special Club bottling.

Apple, and lemon zest gives way to a decent minerality on the back of the palate. Long dry finish. A beautifully layered complex champagne.
