Musty but with some lovely fruit. Lovely Saturday night 💕

The perfect Schioppettino. Every flavor that should be there is there , including pepper in the finish. Lovely spicy aromas, this fine wine expresses an Italian rustic style rarely seen today. Is it in the same class as. Brunello, Barolo, or Chianti? Definitely not. But for something different with pasta or pizza, a great choice.

Creamy. Soft. Delicate aromas of soft cherry and red flowers and hint of white pepper. Med body. Med acid. Delicate. Elegant texture with hint of cinanon and white pepper on the palate. Sweet tannin and hint of bitterness on the end. Soft but complex wine. Drunk with tomato pizza(what(?)))).

Excellent. A great example of how good the Reds of Friuli can be. Pricey

Beautiful structure. Perfumed and a terrific finish. Delish
