Reserve Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 92% Cab Sauv & 8% Petit Verdot, aromas of dark fruit and complex spice. On the palate ripe cherry and plum fruit with garden spice, smoke and cacao. Fine dusty tannins, well balanced, great mouthfeel with lively acidity ending on a rich finish, with room to age. Very nice!

Just learned they supply they grapes for Camus! Can’t wait to sign up for their wine club and visit the winery...

Had this many times always a crowd pleaser.

Got as a gift from L... delicious deep flavor, nice mouth feel and finish, which didn’t compete with the chicken piccata we had it with. On sale for $99 is a bit too steep though.

Fruity nose with a little pepper & hints of leather. Some bite on the tongue, very strong alcohol flavor and 14.8%. Linger very short, some astringent tannins minor acid. Rated higher for that little earthy leathery complexity but then downgraded for too much bite.

Strong tannic structure with notes of black cherry, spice and cedar. I get a slight nuttiness as well. Well-rounded with years to come.

Awesome richness and intensity. Drink now and again in 15 years.

Dry; more fruit than super Tuscan

Love it! Similar to Caymus with lots of fruit upfront.
