Another excellent Italian wine. Paired nicely with a low country boil and time spent with one of my kids. Very refreshing with light notes of pear which I love.

Italian. White. Umbrian.
Lots of pear, a bit lemon, crisp, decent choice of wine. $10 at my local shop. Has a bit of tropical taste (pineapple?) but not sweet. More acidic. I’d say it has some aftertaste but nothing overwhelming. Had with orchiette con rapini. Had next day with pasta alle vongole. Chilled. Would be good aperitif with appetizers, especially in summertime.

Fantastic wine. Pear, lemon, very floral, honey nose. Paired great with fish.

Limestone/slate, lemon pith, preserve, white flowers, hint of tropical fruit on nose. Follows through on palate. Med+ acidity, med+ body. Great warm weather wine, easy to drink by itself or with food. Mild complexity would pair well with apps, fish/seafood, and even charcuterie.

Subtle, just barely sweet but not too sweet. Nice floral notes.
