2004 was the best bottle of wine I've ever had. So fruity and delicious. Will have to try an '08 bottle as well. That one seems like another good one! :)

Almost too smooth for me. I like more full bodied.

Could be delicious... but falls short somehow. Alcohol overpowers.

Deep Dark ruby in color.

On the nose, licorice, cloves, vanilla, chocolate, blackberries, figs and peppercorn.

Spicy yet smooth on the palate with oak, blackberries, figs, cloves, vanilla and licorice.

Medium bodied and balanced, but feels more like a cabernet Sauvignon.

Medium finish with smooth tannins and black pepper.

To the Merlot, were added, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.

Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.

13.8% alcohol by volume.

This is a Merlot to my liking ( mainly because it tastes more like a Cabernet).

Merlot with some added grapes, nice easy drinking wine before dinner. Plenty of fruit with some complexity and balance. Amazing wine company, took a tour of their cave in Napa last year and was blown away!! They are consummate professionals with a reputation for good reason.

Pleasant fruit, easy to drink but too light for my taste.
