My last Little Wine IV. A blend of vintages 2012 2013 and 2014. Ripe plums with a hint of prune - fruit cake aromas. Obviously the product of old vines - entirely from the Hoffman Vineyard apparently. Lush and fluid textures on the palate. Amazing quality for the price.

Very dense ruby. Aromas of ripe black plum with a note of prune. Silky palate showing its old vine origins / supple slippery tannins. This wine is instantly loveable by all who taste it and ridiculous value at only $38 back when I bought it. To pay that amount for what is essentially a hand made wine of small production from ancient Shiraz vines is a wonderful thing and explains why Fraser sells out every year in a few weeks. This is my oldest Little Wine (#4) which combines vintages 2012, 2013 and 2014 - all good vintages. Just bought Fraser’s latest offering from the 2018 vintage today - includes Little Wine #9

A rich plush Barossa Shiraz. Full bodied plum and berry flavours. A lovely fluid supple palate, the product of old vine fruit. Looking through my notes I see I have had Little Wine #2 #3 #5 and #6 but somehow missed this #4 Multi vintage comprising 2012 at 17%; 2013 at 44% and 2014 at 39%. All good years in the Barossa although Fraser would say some were more difficult than others. Vine age ranges from the 1990s with the oldest planted prior to 1912. Rich and delicious.

No. IV is my favorite Little Wine so far.
Blend of 2012,2013 and 2014.
Just brilliant and drinking at peak now.
