The Sta Rita OG-- and a gorgeous expression- bing cherry, ripe pomegranate, Christmas orange, a nose that gives me shivers it's so inviting! A grassy mossiness with hints of bacon fat and white pepper. Fruit is tart red with candied rhubarb and orange zest on the palate, vanilla bean, juicy acidity, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Never had Sta Rita this balanced, even at elevated alcohol.
