Restrained nose. Not much going on apart cranberries, sour cherries, light tobacco, dried rose petals. Palate is about purity and focus, pleasant savoury edge with food-friendly tannins. Medium finish with a hint of all spices.

Not much depth but varietally expressive nose if roses, leather and red fruit, invigorating palate and moderate length with earth, spice and strawberries.

Plenty going on aromatically with cherry, almond, amaro citrus; chalky tannin on a good length. All the more remarkable that you can pick it up sub $25

Closed up tight on day one. A little better on day two but still acidic and a touch astringent. On day three however it has opened up beautifully. Med weight with a rich rose petal nose, this wine was both delicate and powerful. Hold for 5 years and then try again.
