J. Schram Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir

Chardonnay heavy really fines and complex , out of magnum.

Showing some age, which is the highest compliment. Dried apricot, dried apple, day-old dried-out honey, buttered crouton, funky yeast, subtle acidity. Slightest white pepper. Complex beyond words. Domestic sparkling for the ages.

Spellbinding. Nutty, funky, toasted almonds, racy acidity dialed back considerably for a more velvety mouth feel.

Hints of orange and nuttiness

This is an excellent example of honey, vanilla, toasted brioche, and very elegant body. Refined bubbles reminiscent of the Dom Ruinart.

Beautiful , apples dripped with honey . With a long succulent finish .

Pretty good strawberry and some lighter, less severe watermelon notes here. The wine has a nose with a lot of sweeter strawberry and nutty notes. Enters with tiny bubbles all around, coating the glass and your mouth. The finish is VERY mildly tart and quite dry. Overall I think this wine is doing great, especially given its roots. Very well balanced sparkler. Takes me back to touring and tasting in the cave.
