Sea Sun California Pinot Noir

Plenty of fruit. Plums, cherry and slight tannins

A Wagner offering, Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruit, with floral and toasty earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and red plum, with cedar and earthy notes. Ok balance, lively acidity, fine tannins ending with herbs and earthy mineral. Drink now, no aging benefit.

Earthy, soft tannins with a bit of spice on the finish

The sourness remains consistently prominent, masking any discernible flavor profiles throughout the entire tasting experience.

Cherry, oak, smoke, and a touch of pepper. I’d have never guessed it was Pinot noir on a blind test but it’s fruity with the tannins and boldness of a Cabernet Sauvignon.

Very nice, smooth, flavorful Pinot

On Sky Princess doing a Caymus wine dinner. This wine was served with the fish course but I didn’t have fish. This was tasty with the cheese course. An ok wine but I’m not a big Pinot Noir fan so I wouldn’t buy this for home tasting.

it was okay nothing special

Medium and oaky with a surprising burst of bright fruit. Not bad.

Fruit forward, gets deeper in flavor opening up. Smooth. Round finish.
