#AgedWineTuesday
Dark ruby in color with a cloudy reddish/ brick rim.
Strong nose of blueberries, blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, dried figs, cedar, herbs, light vanilla, licorice, chocolates, tobacco leaf, light earth, black tea, pencil lead, Indian spices, peppercorn and light medicine.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, cooked cherries, licorice, peppercorn, coffee, cola, herbs, black tea, pencil lead and Indian spices.
Spicy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from israel. Nicely balanced and elegant.
Drinking beautifully now, as a 16 year old. Showing great complexity at this point, especially on the nose.
Good right out of the bottle and gets even better as it opens up. it changes every 15 minutes, which is so beautiful to experience.
Showing a beautiful nose with lots of complexity. I love these kind of wines where the nose truly shines. Loved smelling on it for a long time.
I had the 2007 vintage 8 years ago, and it was not as good as this is. Really benefited with time in the bottle.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels for 21 months. A small production of less than 9,000 bottles made. Kosher.
14% alcohol by volume.
94 points.
$100 (current vintage).
