Bargain find in my parents’ winter town. Nothing stunning, but well built wine.

Lucious, inky red wine from Sardinia. The grape is the Sardinian Grenache grape known as Cannonau. Unique grape with a very rich berry flavor, pleasant nose and a lingering taste of spice such as cinnamon. Paired wonderfully with lasagna. Did not pair as well with poultry. Should do well with red meat. Drank in November 2023

Very enjoyable, fine tannin, crisp fresh fruit, good air movement in the vineyard (not sure how to put that into more descriptive terms, but it come through the wine as Clean & Fresh).

Very enjoyable. Mild Herb (slight anise ) with a very nice balance of fruit. I will definitely purchase again

Another solid vintage of this Sardinian Grenache based wine. Bright ruby color. Beautiful aromas of violets, crushed gravel and dark fruit. The pallet is also full of ripe dark fruit and wild herbs with a hint of Chinese five spice on the finish. Oak is in the background. Well structured, bright acidity and nicely balanced. Revisited in September 2024 (Thanks Keith) Still bright and fresh!

Jake describes it as delicate, and it doesn’t pack a big flavor punch. Wouldn’t buy it again but it was ok.
