Felt like the flavors fell a bit flat, hard to distinguish what was happening in the glass. Red fruit yes, but not much beyond that. Got better with an hour of decant.

Great wine but I did expect even more. Decanted for 3 hours. Still a little tight. Cherry and plum. Earthy (chalk/slate). Some violets. Just a hint of something more herbaceous like tobacco. Finishes shorter than it should. Tannins medium.
