Deep butter, boysenberry, and blackberries on the nose. Right on the cusp of maturity in my humble opinion but absolutely wonderful. Full body of dark purple jams very little tannins. I took a gamble hoping that age would beautify this wine and I suspect that’s the case. Yum!

Nov 11th, 2020When I saw this 2011 and at 15% discount for Wine Wednesday and grabbed this up! Delicious! I suspect this wine is at its height of maturity. Smooth mellow mix strawberries and black currant. Wow

Nice well balanced merlot. Good mellow red wine for the price.

It's worth buying a case of this for sure! Don't let the hype from Sideways make you hate on Merlot. There are a lot of fantastic Merlots, and this is one of them.
