Solid. A little aggressive and slightly dry. A little earthy but full body that covers the entire mouth evenly.

That's right... non-vintage... but the same label as a 1970 Simi Zinfandel a couple years ago. Beautifully balanced on both the nose and palate - especially compared to the '81 and '95s tasted alongside. $25 on Winebid about a year ago. Shoulda bid on more :-)
