First, it's the smoke, then the fruit arrives in a rush. Raspberry, strawberry, both fresh and jammy. Oh, there is pepper too, and tannins smoother than a 2013 should possess. Fine Dundee hills.

Pinot tasting! Pretty, light but juicy red fruit with mild earth, wet leaves, and mellow acidity. 2013 was a cooler year with more rain at harvest, yielding softer, mellower grapes.
