Dry, still Brachetto is a fantastic idea (and 👌🏻 with pasta and red sauce). Maybe I’m just a sucker for word association, but I’m detecting a strong Rooibos tea character from this one (the vineyard name is “Mate”) along with red fruit, earth, licorice, sage. Nice zippy acidity. Med/body. Like Yerba Mate, has fine, grippy tannins and a slightly bitter but not unpleasant finish.

A nice discovery! Purchased to meet a free delivery requirement, this developed beautifully over a couple days open. Delicious on its own and was fun with burgers too. Amazing for the price!

Too much aromas in relation to the structure, makes it tiring. The aroma itself is unique and complicated, with strong fundamentals. The texture is supple and refined.

Super floral... like an old lady, wearing heavy perfume, in a flower shop next to a bowl of potpourri. Strawberry and chalk too. Bone dry on the palate. Leather and tar, mixed with bright red fruit. Light to medium weight. Pair with pastas and classic Italian pizza. Yummy.
