Lyndenhurst Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Fruit forward with a touch of tobacco and spice. Well balanced with beautiful mouth feel.

Bit more jam than regular Spottswood Cab. Young still.

Much more acid than the Altagracia. Not quite as much weight or texture.

Silky smooth. Second label is very nice. Not over done just lets the fruit do its thang!

This took about a day to open. This seems less extracted than other well known Napa Cab producers. Dark. Black cassis, blueberry, blackberry, touch of leather and cinnamon on the nose. Tannins are still holding on, but smoothed our. Acidity fading into the back. Similar dark black fruit with tree bark and a touch of leather on the palate, a hint of dark chocolate tickles the back of the tongue. It’s nice with a steak and cherry salad.

Nice balance of acid, dark fruits, and tannins. Keeps your palate thinking positive thoughts.
