Stag's Leap Wine Cellars
S.L.V. Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This bottle was in a closed and dumb phase, the nose stuck at stinky sock and the powerful core of blackberry fruit and freshly made compote was just a bit too disjointed to enjoy. Hold for 3-4 years minimum.

Smoother than expected given how young it is. Tannins quite mellow and good fruit forward Napa Cab. A bit pricey, but quite good overall.

I'm not sure it's worth the price but it is very good. Classic Napa cab flavors with tannins that are in your face.

Costco $120. Corked at bavettes Las Vegas. Was ok. Not noteworthy given the price.

Jan 22nd, 2019Spicier and more acidic than its FAY counterpart, hint of coffee, strong tannin aftertaste.
