@Antonio Galloni hit the nail on the head with this one. There’s not a whole lot varietal characteristics (though there are some) but this is undeniably quite delicious, even at nearly 11 years old. Secondary characteristics are beginning to show themselves: leather, tilled earth and mushrooms entering the fore. Structure still propping everything up quite nicely. A lovely wine.
