Esprit de Beaucastel Red Rhone Blend

Berries, licorice, clove, baking spice, chocolate, smooth texture, nice long finish.

Paired well with my hearty roasted garlic red sauce and spicy sausage. Great tannins and lingering finish.

The best Esprit I've tasted. So balanced in every category

Peppery. Full bodied. Well rounded. Soft tannins

Ok for vin de table but not much depth to it.

Ruby red, with big orange rim. Tertiary nose of dried leaves, clove and a hint of caramel. Warm and spicy, good acidity, slightly dry tannin. A bit over the hill already. Disappointing. Drink quickly .2008 vintage. 40 euro.Abv. 14,5%.

Acidic start with a slight olive taste, slightly chalky in the middle with a spicy finish that lingers to the chest and the stomach - none of which are overbearing.

Needs air but finally blossoms in the glass with tons of minerality and dried fruit. 14.8 alcohol but not a dead soldier.

Solid as usual. Goes good with the Waz.

Good, not great. Bit of a tart finish and heat on finish.
