Napa Valley Red Blend
From Trinchero Family Estates, a blend of 60% Cab Sauv and 40% Merlot, dark Ruby with bold dark fruit and floral spice aromas. On the palate, ripe fruits, blackberry and cherry with espresso, cinnamon and tar notes. Dusty tannins, some oak with earthy tones on a medium plus finish. Nice offering, but I think ‘12 was a bit better! The Merlot makes it good to drink now. Tasting Sample.

May 27th, 2020A bit too blown out for us. Will try again tomorrow to see if it holds up well or changes or not. OK so day 2, much more developed herbal flavors and tannins. Upped the rating two points to be fair. Good stuff.
