From Trinchero Family Estates, a blend of 60% Cab Sauv and 40% Merlot, dark Ruby with bold dark fruit and floral spice aromas. On the palate, ripe fruits, blackberry and cherry with espresso, cinnamon and tar notes. Dusty tannins, some oak with earthy tones on a medium plus finish. Nice offering, but I think ‘12 was a bit better! The Merlot makes it good to drink now. Tasting Sample.

A bit too blown out for us. Will try again tomorrow to see if it holds up well or changes or not. OK so day 2, much more developed herbal flavors and tannins. Upped the rating two points to be fair. Good stuff.

Expressive full body Napa cab. Well integrated oak, fine grained tannins. Currant and blueberries. Extremely drinkable for such a young wine.

Dark opaque pour. Soft plums up front then a bone dryness. Earthy bouquet changing to a fast dry finish of taste but the dryness continues.

A nice, well-balanced Meritage that is worth even the restaurant price, probably a steal at retail. Will be putting this on our “Buy List”

Got bottle W Hank ray Ray & wife @ makoto. Wine tastes a bit strong in the beginning but is getting smoother by the glass.

Great blend with fruit galore. Had the perfect touch of acidity and a long finish
