Terre Siciliane Nero d'Avola

Bought this not really knowing what to expect. Bright red fruit on the nose with some black fruit and funk at the tip of the tongue, very deep ruby with no fading on the edges. Shockingly high acidity, very bright red berries dominates the palate with surprisingly grippy (although a little rough, but small) tannins for how young it is. Kinda almost tastes like a good cherry candy. Blackberry on the middle of the palate and herbaceous, vegetal notes at the end that's gasoline-like. Mild minerality that lingers at the end of the palate. This wine is kinda in your face unashamed of it!
