2010 - decent supermarket wine, since I can no longer be bothered to overthink my wines pre-weekend travel. Also, maybe it's sort of a fun game to discover the random Jensen's gem, or, maybe I'm just jaded. All of the above, most likely. This was decent paired with my Cioppini & Lake Arrowhead air. Exhibited lots of tobacco/cohiba aromas, and was easily guzzled. Tasty.

Caparzo Rosso di Montalcino 2010. Not as nuanced as some others, but a rich red that pairs well with steak drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar. Yum.

Unbalanced, too much alcohol. Sapori, on the other hand, great. Squid ink gnocci with shrimp and calamari was amazing.
