16.5+. Classico indeed, except that chianti wasn’t as good 30 years ago. The Sangiovese really comes through in a distinctive way in this wine. Great year, pity to drink it so young, but that’s what I could get at the Coop in Chianciano (good range, by the way - Caparzo, Altesino, ...). — 8 years ago

Really a very good Rosso. Surprising pickup from a random sale at our local wine shop. Quite seamless with excellent acid. Good red fruit and a bit of earth too. Perfect pairing with a beautiful marinated leg of lamb on the grill. — 5 years ago
