Spice and vanilla oak driven aroma but with well layered black figs and delicate black cherries. There is definately sense of new wood vanilla and aromas are going around here.
Med p body, med p acid, lots of mushroom clay soil earthiness.
Mushroom powder, clay, dust, mineral bitterness on the end. Firm and dry tannins on the back bone.
Can be better with grilled mushroom, wagyu beef burger. Definitely not for salmon or fish, need some good butter sauce or rich jus to tone down this firm wood tannin.
