Love this unusual cab franc-merlot blend from Andrea Franchetti!, also an unusual guy with some rock'n'roll background with which I seem to sympathise. If this is the future of the much-loathed Super Tuscans, sign me in! Oxidative approach, racking, 2nd, 3rd & 4th passage barriques, cement tanks. A wine that sits nicely next to you and invites to enjoy, not a masculine ego-show. Looking forward to try his Passopisciaro very soon #rosso #toscane #andreafranchetti @WineTraining @Dusan Bradanovich

A Bordeaux-style blend from Tuscany, heavy on the Cabernet Franc. Powerful nose of dark cherry with baking spice from the oak. A little rich, but overall well structured. Likely been drinking well for a few years; good for several more.

Trinoro baby. Too young to drink where the tannin still gripy n harsh. Crushed stone and forest with a chalky feel. Raspberry and black fruit. Savoury and good level of acidity. Quite balance but can feel abit of the high level of alcohol. Flowery taste and abit of cola taste

Having a pre-Christmas date night at Oak steakhouse in the Avalon. Recommended by our waiter. Fantastic recommendation, full bodied, strong spices(hints of pepper and cinnamon). Will definitely get it again.
