2 people found it helpfulAug 3rd, 2014I shared the magnum with my roommate for his birthday. A little overripe fruit up front that kind of turned into an old leather and dusty kind of feel. Great body with many layers that ended with some very grippy tannins.

Good vintage. Well balanced with minimal tannins. Very drinkable upon pouring and decanting really didn’t make a difference. Only the drinker can determine whether it’s worth the cost as it’s not an outstanding Brunello. I paid considerably less 10 years ago and it has increased in price significantly.

Oct 25th, 202317.5/20 (93/100) Аромат вишни, барбариса, ежевики, морёной древесины и шоколада. Тельное с довольно высокой кислотностью. Танины суховатые, замшевые по текстуре. Насыщенное во вкусе. Отлично!

May be going through an awkward phase but a light showing for this one out of magnum. Stanky nose blew off, but barnyard yielded sweet fruit and some tobacco followed by a nice cherry entry and flat-thin-dry thereafter. Tannins too drying to truly enjoy. Usually only gems from my friend GMV.
