First document to mention Terrabianca dated 1085: two centuries before Dante. Located 35 miles from Florence, in the heart of Chianti. A blend of 70% Sangiovese & 30% Cab Sauv, aged for 12 months in French & American oak. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruit and light toasty oak. On the palate cherry and ripe plum, a bit of spice and oak with a savory edge. Well balanced soft tannins, complex yet elegant. Lingering ending with fresh fruit and a little earthy mineral. A Fav!

Julios - weak fruit, some may like with spaghetti/pizza. I would recommend for first time red drinkers. June 2017
