Fruit and earth on the nose. Also some gravel notes on the nose. Woody and oak flavors. Light tannins that give a light mouthfeel on the finish. Some gravel or slate also comes through in the flavor. Good!

100% Sagrantino. Silky front, tobacco, blackberry, copper penny then moves to a very softly puckering, tannic finish that builds to a dry, sirocco gust finish. If you aren't a fan of big tannins just back away out the door from this one. A beautiful, wine that reminds you of the huge number unique, fantastic varietals in Italy.
