Perfect, in a way. No pyrazene, no stewed prunes. Pointed acidity, superb structure, great length, although closed. Expect greatness in a few years.

Consistent, delicious expression of California Syrah. Fleshy dark fruit with a floral nose and plenty of balances structure. A producer I don't visit often enough.

Ojai soil has high salinity and desert warmth. Great purple color. Delicious enough for doubles, esp in Ojai.
