Excited to try this indigenous grape from S Africa, but wasn’t blown away. Loved the surfer label, but not what’s inside the bottle. Will definitely experiment with Pinotage again though.

It informs us that the first Pinotage vine was planted in 1925 by Professor Perold... the grape is now considered indigenous to South Africa.
