Deep dark, robust red colored. Smells of berries and something savory, meaty, & pruny. Flavor is fruit driven and pretty smooth. Hint sweet. Just enough vanilla and caramel to know it’s been in that barrel they toasted. It’s likable and fresh. Nothing too complicated here though. Just a pretty clean and affordable CA Cab. It’s a wine to drink on Monday with a carne asada taco or some spicy chicken dish.

Not a bold cab and not tasting much of the barrel aging. Good tasting wine just not a Cabernet
