Needs to air. More a Rhone-style than a Barossa Valley-style red. Remember, it's a blend...Grenache 56%, Shiraz 23%, Matoro 21%. Costco $27.99. Like it.

56% Grenache, 23% Shiraz, 21% Mataro. Earthy, but not in a barnyardy (Rhone) way. Robust dark berry and pepper notes.

Medium minus ruby-red to a slight garnet rim (slight signs of age).
Pronounced white pepper on the nose, supported by ripe blackberry with some overripe peach/stone-fruit.
Full-bodied, high alcohol (15%), elevated acid, low tannins. No oak influence, but there is a fresh earthiness to this. Not bad for $30.
