Have to go to the bay to get the boss's wine. Holy cow.

2020 opened Jan 2023. Highly acidic. Dries out my gums! I’m giving this a higher rating than I normally would for such a wine because I think it will mellow out in a decade or though. But this is not to my taste. Not much going on on the front. Most of its tannins express themselves mid-palate. It has a tart short finish.

2010 Vintage. 82% Grenache, 18% Syrah. 66% Torrin Vineyard, 34% James Berry Vineyard. 15.8% alc. Big, jammy Rhône blend that hides the alcohol as best it can. Knockout punch.

Nice wine. High alc but didn't bother me as much as I would have thought. Great after a bigger Cab

2007. Lighting red color. Lots of raspberry on nose and palate. Lots of heat. Gets in the way on finish. Will it blow off with time? Not sure. Too bad because the fruit is good.

Surprisingly light in color. Somewhat awkward and disjointed on day 1. Little argon sparge, recork & fridge ... 24 hours later ... oh, so good. Nose of macerated cherries, strawberry preserves, ever so slight heat.
Med+ body, mouth filling fruit, excellent minerality, ever so slight grip, wood is there but integrated well.
Wish we would have left more for day 2!!!
