Alsace Riesling
Pale lemon with pronounced stone fruit and citrus aromas. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with vivid acidity, minerality and spice. Medium finish ending dry with fresh fruit and a touch of stony mineral notes.

Jun 13th, 2022Comes across a bit tight when you first get into it. I get some residual yeast/lees (so they leave riesling on the lees in Alsace?) But it opens up to reveal a bit more than acid and yeast, like sweet 🌽 and some pleasant notes of benzene.
I'm going to leave this one right in the middle at 8.0 and that seems about right for the $15 price tag too.
