Lovely but apples for apples (and literally this wine tastes of many apples. Bruised and not) I’d prefer an Alsatian Riesling. But studying requires things like reviewing Pinot Gris. I left the Grigio I tried off Delectable you’re welcome. Okay taste notes: ripe and also slightly dried/bruises apples and lemon rind. Whiffs of white peach. Bits o honey and some spicy greenery like arugula that might make me think this was Gruner but the lack of pepper would hopefully steer me from that. Phenolic bitterness. Moderate acid and alcohol. All over tasty and I feel this would be a good pairing with the oh so tricky artichoke and asparagus. Totally balanced. Good stuff Trimbach.

Pear, ripe melon, floral, minerality, med acid and a round finish. Thinking some Alsatian sausage would be pretty amazing right now.

Definitely a drier style of Alsatian Pinot Gris with some age as well, good acid, nice length, medium-long finish, this seems capable of further development in the bottle!!

Had before steaks and chicken poppers. Not sweet. Perfect for coming off the water on a hot summer day

Great Alsace white. Bright acidity and minerality. A bit more depth than most Pinot Gris, even from Alsace. Great value.
