Took 30+ minutes to mellow out - a little hot out of the gate - but well balanced, not too much oak nor fruit (if you're into that kind of thing, go elsewhere).

Very different. My palette thinks it is picking up essence of oyster, which only helps to explain the unique complexity of this wine.
