Carneros Roussanne
Full and tropical, pineapple. Big weight and texture from lees but still a nice amount of acid. Bit boozy, but would you expect less from Carneros Roussanne?

Apr 6th, 20212017 in 3/21. Rdl Burg stem. 14.1% 1 of a tiny few wines I've ever re bought! Cant find it in MCO. This was from our only visit to Berkeley Bowl bfr moving from CA. Shame we didn't dscovr that place sooner.....White peach, quince, green and brown pear, lemon (but one the size of a grpfrt). Barely oh so delicately baked apple, something barely tropical- banana maybe. Delicate oak, mod+ acidity that makes the finish go and go. This was prob singing a month ago but I was planning to hold it longer based on PREV exp. Glad I didn't. Acidity would hv held it up but fruit seemed like it was entering its delicately baked zone. I love this wine in general. It was THE first retail btl I ever re bought shortly after the move TO CA.At Drgrs.
