2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon selection from different steep, southwest-facing hillside plots from the 400-acre Truchard Estate Vineyard. A beautiful restrained Cab featuring cassis, dark chocolate, cedar wood, graphite, and some smokiness. Very fresh, with layers of juicy black fruits, a tight backbone of ripe tannin, and a very long mineral finish. Abv. 14,2%. This should age beautifully for at least 15 years .Very reasonably priced by Napa standards at 125 USD. 168 cases produced.
