Big and ripe, very Zin, better on day 2 which means I think I should have more splashily poured on day 1 with white cheddar bacon burgers and pickled shallots

What big bold flavor unfolded on this vintage, a good decant, after a few hours the bold flavors really mellow out. At 15.8%, a glass or two will give you the feels to boot.

A very nice Zinfandel from Howell Mountain. It didn't possess any fruit forwardness or spice notes that are typical. Instead it had leather and dark red fruit qualities.

Takes a while to open. Too much alcohol/heat. Don't hate it, but I don't love it. Overpriced. Hahn is better at a third the price.
