This is pretty extraordinary. Dark, earthy, perfumed fruit. Blackberries, cocoa. Just a touch of meat and smoke. Completely seamless, incisive flavors. But still somehow light and transparent.

Part of a vertical starting with this 2005, vibrant fruit still present. Nose of smoked plum and tobacco. Rich and extracted, well defined, hailing from the acclaimed Hayne Vineyard. Very nice wine.

Drinking beautifully

This was the hit of our Christmas dinner. Only black and drinking really well. Everyone loved it.

Aged beautifully

Strong earthy flavor with enough fruit still to carry it. The inky black color was as black as... what's the blackest thing you have seen.. this wine.
