Still enjoyable but I think it showed better early on and although never really strutting Cab characteristics this to me is now tasting more like a "generic red from anywhere".
I would opt to drink up.

Dec 9th, 2016I've almost gone through a case of this and start to think that it performed better in the past with tons of "baby fat" to coat the palate.
Hard to argue that a wine can be TOO fruity and while still gaining complexity with air, being super aromatic and impressively juicy, to me this lacks tannins, backbone and structure to make it improve from further aging so I would opt to drink up.

A Cab from Turley, what in the world? Ruby red color in the glass. Subtle nose of violets, cloves, and blackberry. This is so old school. The antithesis of a modern Napa Cab. Very simply structured and such low heat. Ready to drink now, the alcohol is so mild mannered compared to other bottles out there. Mint, menthol, dark chocolate, and blueberry on the palate, with plenty of herbs throughout. So much fun to be had with this one.
