To celebrate my 750th review, I chose this wonderful White Port.
This 100% Chardonnay, white port, from Israel, is golden in color.
Gorgeous nose of brandy, lemons, sweet cherries, caramel, sherry, cooked figs, citrus and honey.
Full bodied and bold, buttery and elegant, with high acidity and great legs.
Sweet on the palate with citrus, brandy, honey, caramel, spices and white pepper.
Long finish with honey notes.
Hand harvested, at night, and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
What an awesome port. Very elegant, sweet but not too sweet. The high acidity balances it out beautifully. Really nice quality.
