Incredible wine. Full and rich. Earthy and long on the finish. Blackberry and cassis. Still will benefit from a few more years in bottle. Glad I have 3 more!

As wine collectors know sometimes there’s just oops . I brought this back myself from Montalcino Italy. Have been savingthis for a special occasion. Unfortunately dead on arrival. beyond a musty nose high acidity the wine was turning. It’s completely unfortunate as I am a true lover of Valdicava Brunello

2007 vintage and a little disappointing. The alcohol seems to be on volume 11. Overwhelms the fruit and the finish is light
