Cabernet Sauvignon

A lovely Saturday evening of Bogart films big beefy stew and this utter disappointment....muted blackberry and heat to the nose...HEAT!!! burn your eyes heat... BlackBerry alcohol oak to the palate. Tannins to rip your face off...med minus finish. On the plus side...this bad boy is super dark in the glass...

Not my taste

"Much more powerful and muscular than I expected. Steong alcohol and a bit of sweetness. Seemed more or less in balance and the trannins were sufficiently integrated. All in all a good drink with a strong enough food pairing, but a little overpowering for my personal taste."

Not a great finish but a good tasting wine. I would use it for a good wine with average company. Wouldn't use it for any meal.
