Oct 23rd, 2025Gorgeous nose of chestnut, dried roses, spice galore, wet earth and macerated cherries. Smells very dense. What a palate. Dense and juicy and clearly in need of air but wonderful fruit and terrific mid season cherry fruit. The spice on the nose is mesmerizing. Cinnamon, clove, cardamom, just gorgeous. Brings the clarity. Wow this is glorious and the juicy, very bright cherry fruit clearly lingers. Really incredible finish and will only get better with air. Wow the nose is just a dizzying array of spice now. Nebbiolo is incredible. Texture is softer and more velvety but still has “this needs 15 years” tannins. Great wine.
