Dark brooding red color. Smells like red-black fruits (plums and cherries mostly) & rocks. Maybe hint of fermenting fruits as well. Flavors are smooth and easy going. Slight grip of tannin on the finish. Tart, juicy and grape-y. Has elderberries and herbal tincture stuff too. It’s a nice agreeable vino de tavola.

Yes. Very good Tuscan wine. Full bodied, deep color. Unbelievable quality for the $5 TJ price.

Feb 6th, 2020I poured one glass and then used the rest to cook with because it was so bad. Aromatics of band aids, just a terribly balanced wine.
