Gorgeous nose of old leather, earth, iodine, dark macerated cherry. In the mouth it’s still a bit tannic and verging on austere. But it goes so beautifully with Tuscan Peposo. Such length.

Enjoyed the 2013 vintage at a nice NJ Italian restaurant that allows BYOB. Went well with chicken Parmigiana and red sauce and also chicken parmigiana with vodka sauce. Very good wine. Great value from WTSO for $33.
