W. B. Bridgman Cellars
Columbia Valley Syrah
Tried the ‘15 & ‘16 side by side. Deep Ruby with purple edges, aromas of black fruit and spice. On the palate this is a simple easy drinking red, flavors of blackberry with pepper. Tannins are a bit biting, medium finish. Tasting Sample.

Sep 26th, 2019Figgy and vanilla bouquet gives way to an expectantly oaky and fruity palate. Lots of vanilla up front, fruity but not too sweet. Oaky but still complex with layers of (mostly dark) fruit and a touch of pepper. Not the boldest Syrah, but held its own with a not-too-spicy pumpkin curry. Fantastic value for a $15 bottle that drinks like a $23-$27 wine.
